There is one single ingredient that I believe is essential in the making of a successful person: CONFIDENCE.

Whether you call yourself a professional speaker (which means you make money doing so) or if you are someone who uses the act of speaking as a means to get a message across, influence someone, or go as far as having your words inspire the listener to take action, you have an important story to tell.

Although it certainly doesn’t get talked about enough, I strongly believe that intuition is among the most important elements for success in entrepreneurship. I operate very much on my intuition.

In the multitudes of interviews, podcasts, TV shows, radio shows and magazine articles that I get interviewed on, the most common question I get asked is, “Didi, how do you balance between personal and work life?”

With June being Effective Communications Month, I could not pass up the chance to mark the event. As you likely know, the Art of Articulation is not just near and dear to my heart.

We generally think of capital as wealth in the form of money, right? Well, relationship capital is a form of wealth too, but in this case, it’s wealth in the form of your circle of influence.

My foray into entrepreneurship came at the end of a four-day, intensive yoga conference in Hong Kong back in 2007. I woke up the last day before sunrise and intuited a calling to create a yoga-inspired clothing brand called Chakras by didi.

When I first heard him speak, I was mesmerized. He was opening up my senses to the world of personal development which I have always loved.
